Competition Terms and Conditions
Promoter
The promoters of this competition are RB Sellars and Harvey Black Group Pty Ltd (together, the Promoters).
Promotion Period
Entries open at 8:00 am on 2 June 2026 and close at 4:00 pm on 4 June 2026, or as otherwise stated at the event.
Entry Method
To enter, participants must scan the QR code displayed at Farmfest sites displaying the QR code and complete the online entry form in full.
Entry Requirements
Entry is free, and no purchase is necessary.
By entering, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge the Privacy Statement.
Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who attend Farmfest during the Promotion Period, unless otherwise stated.
The following persons are ineligible:
- employees, contractors, directors and officers of either Promoter involved in the Promotion;
- their immediate family members;
- any person otherwise disqualified by law.
Prize
Each day during the Promotion Period, ONE winner will be selected to receive a prize consisting of a $250 voucher from EACH Promoter.
The total prize value per day is $500 ($250.00 per promotor).
Prizes:
- are not transferable;
- are not exchangeable;
- are not redeemable for cash;
- are subject to any voucher issuer terms and conditions.
Winner Selection
Winners will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received during the relevant daily entry period.
The draw will take place each day AT 4 PM by HARVEY BLACK GROUP.
If a winner is unable to be contacted, is ineligible, or does not claim the prize during the 2026 Farmfest event, the Promoters may redraw.
Winner Notification
Winners will be notified by phone, email, or SMS using the contact details provided at entry.
Winners may also be announced on the Promoters’ social media accounts.
Use of Personal Information
By entering, participants consent to:
- the Promoters collecting their personal information for the purpose of administering this giveaway;
- the Promoters sharing that information with each other;
- receiving marketing communications from each Promoter.
General Conditions
The Promoters may verify the identity, age, and eligibility of any entrant or winner.
The Promoters may disqualify any entry that is incomplete, incorrect, fraudulent, or not submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
If the Promotion is affected by circumstances beyond the Promoters’ reasonable control, the Promoters may cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion, subject to applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoters are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or corrupted entries.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland.
Privacy Statement
RB Sellers and Harvey Black Group Pty Ltd collect personal information you provide when you enter the 2026 Farmfest Giveaway Competition.
We collect your information to:
- administer the competition;
- contact winners;
- announce winners;
- share entrant information between the Promoters;
- send marketing and promotional communications.
The information we collect may include your name, email address, mobile number, and any other details requested on the entry form.
Your personal information will be used and disclosed only for the purposes set out above and in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and each Promoter’s privacy practices.
If you do not provide the requested information, you may not be able to enter the competition.
By submitting the form, you acknowledge that your information will be shared between RB Sellers and Harvey Black Group Pty Ltd for the purposes of administering the giveaway and for marketing communications.
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting the Promoter whose details are shown on the entry form.

Background
A The Parties will jointly conduct a free promotional giveaway competition during the Farmfest Event in Toowoomba from 2 June 2026 to 4 June 2026 (the Promotion).
B The purpose of the Promotion is to promote the goods and services of each Party, collect entrant details, and sharing those entrant details between the Parties for marketing and promotional purposes in accordance with this Deed and the entrant consent obtained at entry.
Agreed Terms
1 Defined Terms & Interpretation
1.1 Defined Terms
These meanings apply unless the contrary intention appears:-
(a) “Bank” has the same meaning as in the Banking Act 1959 (Cth);
(b) “Business Day” means a day on which the Banks are open for business in Toowoomba, excluding a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday;
(c) “Commencement Date” means the date of this Deed;
(d) “Competition” means the promotional giveaway of Vouchers drawn daily during the Farmfest Event;
(e) “Deed” means this promotional deed for the 2026 Farmfest Event;
(f) “Electronic Signature” means a visual representation of a person’s handwritten signature which is placed on this Deed using DocuSign or other electronic signing platform agreed by the Parties and “Electronically Signed” as a corresponding meaning;
(g) “Entrants” means the people who enter the Competition by scanning the QR code displayed across Farmfest Event sites;
(h) “Entrant Terms” means the Entrants terms and conditions to be provided to each Entrant as set out in Annexure A;
(i) “Farmfest Event” means the Farmfest event held on 2 June 2026 to 4 June 2026 at Kingsthorpe Park, Toowoomba Qld for the primary industry field days;
(j) “Government Authority” means the government of the Commonwealth of Australia and any state or territory, municipality or other political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Australia, including any administrative or judicial body, department, commission, authority, instrumentality, tribunal, agency or entity of any such government and includes the Commissioner of Taxation and the Australian Taxation Office;
(k) “Location” means Kingsthorpe Park, Toowoomba Qld 4400;
(l) “Party” means a person named in the Parties section of this Deed;
(m) “Term” means the period of the Event from the date 2 June 2026 to 4 June 2026;
(n) “Vouchers” means a $250.00 voucher for the following:
(i) A RB Sellar voucher is to purchase goods at RB Sellars;
(ii) A HBG voucher is to purchase goods at any branch of HBG.
1.2 Interpretation
Unless the contrary intention appears, a reference in this Deed to:-
(a) (variations or replacement) a document (including this Deed) includes any variation or replacement of it;
(b) (clauses, annexures and schedules) a clause, annexure or schedule is a reference to a clause in or annexure or schedule to this Deed;
(c) (reference to statutes) a statute, ordinance, code or other law includes regulations and other instruments under it and consolidations, amendments, re-enactments or replacements of any of them;
(d) (law) means the common law and the principles and doctrines of equity in force from time to time within the Commonwealth of Australia or any State or Territory of the same and any statute, ordinance, code, rule, regulation, ruling, guideline, by-law, local law, plan, planning scheme, local structure plan, agreement with a Government Authority, official directive, order, instrument, undertaking, obligations, direction, notice or applicable judicial, administrative or regulatory decree, judgement or order (and the expressions lawful and unlawful are to be construed accordingly);
(e) (singular includes plural) the singular includes the plural and vice versa;
(f) (person) the word “person” includes an individual, a firm, a body corporate, a partnership, joint venture, an unincorporated body or association, or any Government Authority;
(g) (executors, administrators, successors) a particular person includes a reference to the person’s executors, administrators, successors, substitutes (including persons taking by novation) and assigns;
(h) (two or more persons) a deed, agreement, representation or warranty in favour of two or more persons is for the benefit of them jointly and each of them individually;
(i) (jointly and severally) a deed, agreement, representation or warranty by two or more persons binds them jointly and each of them individually;
(j) (reference to a group of persons) a group of persons or things is a reference to any two or more of them jointly and to each of them individually;
(k) (dollars) Australian dollars, dollars, A$ or $ is a reference to the lawful currency of Australia;
(l) (calculation of time) if a period of time dates from a given day or the day of an act or event, it is to be calculated exclusive of that day;
(m) (reference to a day) a day is to be interpreted as the period of time commencing at midnight and ending 24 hours later;
(n) (meaning not limited) the words “include”, “including”, “for example” or “such as” are not used as, nor are they to be interpreted as, words of limitation, and, when introducing an example, do not limit the meaning of the words to which the example relates to that example or examples of a similar kind;
(o) (next Business Day) if an event under this Deed must occur on a stipulated day which is not a Business Day then the stipulated day will be taken to be the next Business Day;
(p) (time of day) time is a reference to Australian Eastern Standard time; and
(q) (whole or part) a thing is a reference to the whole or any part of it.
1.3 Headings
Headings (including those in brackets at the beginning of paragraphs) are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of this Deed.
2 Management of Competition
2.1 Responsible for Management
HBG will manage and be responsible for the Promotion including the collection of the data from the Entrants.
3 Promotion Conditions
3.1 Entry
(a) Entry into the Competition will be by completion of an online form on Podium accessed by scanning a QR code displayed at the various sites at the Farmfest Event;
(b) Entry into the Competition is free and no purchase is required;
(c) The entry form will collect, at a minimum the entrant’s:
(i) name;
(ii) email address;
(iii) mobile number;
(iv) postcode or other location information
(v) any other information reasonably necessary to manage the Promotion.
(d) The Competition will operate as a daily draw between 2 June 2026 to 4 June 2026 inclusive;
(e) ONE winner will be selected each day during the Farmfest Event, unless the Parties agree in writing to a different draw format; and
(f) Each Party will contribute three (3) two hundred and fifty ($250.00) dollar Vouchers for the Promotion.
(g) The Parties confirm that the (1) winner will receive one (1) Voucher from HBG and the other winner will receive one (1) Voucher from RB Sellars daily during the Farmfest Event.
(h) The draw method will be random and documented by the Parties.
4 Eligibility for Entrants
4.1 Eligibility
(a) Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over, unless the Parties determine otherwise and clearly disclose that in the Entrant Terms.
(b) The following persons are not eligible to enter:
(i) employees, contractors, directors and officers of either Party directly involved in the Promotion;
(ii) immediate family members of those persons;
(iii) any other person disqualified by law or under the Entrant Terms.
(c) The Parties may require proof of identity, age, and eligibility before awarding a prize
5 Prize Conditions
5.1 Conditions
(a) Each prize consists only of the vouchers expressly stated in the Entrant Terms
(b) Vouchers
(i) are not redeemable for cash;
(ii) are not transferable unless the Voucher terms permit;
(iii) may be subject to issuer-specific conditions, expiry dates, and redemption restrictions.
(c) If a Voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed, or expired, the relevant Party is not responsible except to the extent required by law.
6 Winner Selection and Announcement
6.1 Selection and Announcement
(a) Winners will be drawn daily during the Promotion period at 4pm
(b) Winners will be contacted using the details provided at entry.
(c) Subject to the Entrant Terms, winners may also be announced daily on social media channels operated by one or both Parties.
(d) If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within the time stated in the Entrant Terms, the Parties may conduct a redraw.
7 Data Collection and Sharing
7.1 Collection and Sharing
(a) Each Party authorises the collection of entrant data through the QR code.
(b) The Parties acknowledge that entrant data will be collected for:
(i) administering the Promotion;
(ii) contacting entrants and winners;
(iii) announcing winners;
(iv) post-promotion marketing and promotional communications, if consent is obtained.
(c) The Parties may share entrant data with each other for the purposes stated in clause 7.1(b).
(d) Each Party must:
(i) use entrant data only for the purposes disclosed to entrants;
(ii) protect entrant data from unauthorised access, use or disclosure;
(iii) comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable privacy laws to the extent applicable to that Party.
(e) No Party may sell entrant data to any third party.
8 Privacy and Consent
8.1 Privacy
(a) Entry must be accompanied by the entrant’s acknowledgment and consent to:
(i) collection of personal information;
(ii) disclosure of that personal information between the Parties;
(iii) use of the information for administration of the Promotion;
(iv) use of the information for future marketing communications, if separately consented to by the entrant.
(b) The entry form must include a link to, or display of, the Privacy Statement and Entrant Terms.
(c) Where required, marketing consent must be separate from consent to enter the Promotion.
9 Promotional Materials
9.1 Graphic and Promotion Materials
(a) RB Sellars will provide promotional graphics for use in the Promotion.
(b) RB Sellars warrants that it owns or has the right to use all graphics supplied by it and that such use will not infringe any third-party rights.
(c) HBG may use those graphics solely for the Promotion and related advertising during the Promotion period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10 Social Media
10.1 Social Media
(a) The Parties may post promotional content and winner announcements on their respective social media channels.
(b) Each Party is responsible for ensuring that any social media post made by it complies with the Entrant Terms and any applicable platform requirements.
(c) Any comment, message, or third-party content posted by social media users does not form part of the Promotion unless expressly stated.
11 Records
11.1 Records
(a) The Parties will keep records of:
(i) the entry mechanism;
(ii) dates and times of daily draws;
(iii) winners selected;
(iv) prize delivery;
(v) any redraws;
(vi) consent records and privacy acknowledgements.
(b) The Parties will retain such records for at least 7 years or longer if required by law or reasonable compliance practice.
12 Liability
12.1 Liability
(a) To the extent permitted by law, neither Party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss arising from the Promotion.
(b) Nothing in this Deed excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13 Termination
13.1 Termination
(a) Either Party may terminate this Deed by notice in writing if the other Party materially breaches this Deed.
(b) If the Promotion is terminated, the Parties will cooperate to ensure entrants are informed and any legally required prize obligations are discharged.
14 General
14.1 Entire Agreement
This Deed contains the entire agreement between the Parties about the Promotion
14.2 Non-merger
None of the terms or conditions of this Deed, nor any act, matter or thing done under or by virtue of, or in connection with, this Deed will operate as a merger of any of the rights and remedies of the Parties in or under this Deed or otherwise. All such rights and remedies of the Parties will continue in full force and effect.
14.3 Assignments
The Parties must not assign or charge this Deed or any of its rights or obligations under this Deed.
14.4 No waiver
Time is of the essence of this Deed. However, no failure or delay on the part of the Parties to exercise any power or right under this Deed will operate as a waiver of that power or right. Nor will any single or partial exercise of any power or right under this Deed preclude any other or further exercise of that power of right.
14.5 No partnerships
Nothing contained or implied in this Deed constitutes a Party the partner, agent, or legal representative of another Party for any purpose or creates any partnership, agency or trust, and no Party has any authority to bind another Party in any way.
14.6 Severance
Void, voidable and illegal terms may be severed from this Deed. This clause has no effect if the severance alters the basic nature of this Deed or is contrary to public policy.
14.7 Remedies cumulative
The rights, powers and remedies provided in this Deed are cumulative with and not exclusive of the rights, powers or remedies provided by law independently of this Deed.
14.8 Further steps
Each Party agrees, at its own expense, to do anything another Party asks (such as obtaining consents, signing and producing documents and getting documents completed and signed):-
(a) to bind the Party and any other person intended to be bound under this Deed
(b) to give effect to the intentions of the parties and the objectives of this Deed and the transactions contemplated by it including negotiating in good faith with respect to any matters requested by any of the parties to this Deed, and by the execution and delivery of documents and other instruments; and
(c) to use its best endeavours to cause relevant third parties to do likewise to bind every Party intended to be bound under this Deed.
14.9 Governing Law
The governing law is the governing law of Queensland.
14.10 Variation and waiver
A provision of this Deed or a right created under it, may not be waived or varied except in writing, signed by the Party or parties to be bound.
14.11 Construction
No rule of construction applies to the disadvantage of a Party because that Party was responsible for the preparation of, or seeks to rely on, this Deed or any part of it.
14.12 Counterparts
This Deed may consist of a number of copies (whether original, faxed or emailed), each signed by one or more parties to this Deed If so, the signed copies (whether original, faxed or emailed) are treated as making up the one Deed and the date on which the last counterpart is signed will be the date of this Deed.
14.13 Electronic Signing
This Deed may be signed by, or on behalf of, a Party using an Electronic Signature. Where an Electronic Signature has been used by a Party to sign this Deed, that Party warrants that their Electronic Signature was used to: -
(a) identify and authenticate the person signing;
(b) where the Party is an individual, indicate that the person intended to be bound by the terms of this Deed; and
(c) where the Party is a company, indicate that the person or persons intended to bind the company to the terms of this Deed.
Where this Deed is required by law to be in physical form, the Parties agree that a printout of an Electronically Signed copy of this Deed satisfies that requirement.
14.14 No representations or warranties
Each Party acknowledges that in entering into this Deed it has not relied on any representations or warranties about its subject matter except as expressly provided by the written terms of this Deed.
